This strategic initiative, approved by Governor Umo Eno, seeks to improve public service delivery while empowering the youth across the state.
The recruitment covers diverse disciplines such as education, healthcare, engineering, law, agriculture, science, and administration.
Frank Ekpenyong, Commissioner for Science and Digital Economy, highlighted that all applications will be processed exclusively through the ARISE Youth Employment Portal at [employment.akwaibomstate.gov.ng](https://employment.akwaibomstate.gov.ng).
This online platform underscores the government’s dedication to transparency and efficient job creation under the ARISE Agenda.
Applicants must create profiles by uploading relevant documents like academic certificates and NYSC discharge or exemption certificates.
They are instructed to apply for only one vacancy that matches their qualifications, with communication maintained solely via a valid email address.
Shortlisted candidates will be notified through the portal and must accept their shortlisting online.
They will later receive QR-coded invitations for interviews or aptitude tests, with clear instructions provided through the portal.
On the interview day, candidates are required to bring printed invitation slips, original certificates, and writing materials.
Successful applicants will receive their final appointment notifications through the portal and will be guided on onboarding and documentation procedures.
Once confirmed employed, their status on the portal will update to “Employed,” signaling their official entry into the civil service.
Ekpenyong also assured that several departments are finalizing vacancy documentation, with listings expected to go live on or before July 31, 2025.
“We wish all applicants the very best and thank you for your interest in serving the state,” the commissioner concluded.
