APC 2027 Presidential Crisis Sparks Shocking Warning from Party Chieftain

APC 2027 presidential crisis deepens as Chief Udeogaranya warns renomination of President Tinubu will doom the party’s future chances

The APC 2027 presidential crisis has taken a dramatic turn as Chief Charles Udeogaranya, a prominent chieftain and former presidential aspirant of the ruling party, issued a stern warning.

In a bold interview, Udeogaranya declared that President Bola Tinubu’s re-election bid is a catastrophic mistake that could destroy the party’s future.

“The greatest mistake my party, the APC, will make is to renominate an incompetent president,” he said firmly. “God forbid!”

A seasoned business administrator and widely respected public figure, Chief Udeogaranya’s words carry significant weight among party loyalists and political observers.

He insists that the ruling party must abandon President Tinubu if it wishes to survive the next electoral cycle. According to him, the APC 2027 presidential crisis cannot be ignored or brushed aside.

Speaking on the defection of opposition figures to the ruling APC and ongoing attempts to forge a united opposition coalition, he dismissed them as distractions.

“These things are storms in a tea cup,” he said. “At the right time, Nigerians will take the right action.”

However, he reiterated that any attempt by the APC to push Tinubu forward in 2027 would likely backfire.

“President Tinubu has failed woefully to address the concerns of most Nigerians,” he said, adding that fielding him again would alienate the electorate.

“If INEC upholds the will of Nigerians,” Udeogaranya stated, “the opposition will secure automatic victory if we present Tinubu again.”

Responding to accusations that the APC is deliberately destabilising opposition parties to gain an advantage in 2027, the chieftain redirected blame to the government itself.

“Critics should ask Tinubu and Buhari what they’ve done with the 12 years Nigerians gave them. Are they miracle workers or devourers of our common heritage?” he asked pointedly.

The APC 2027 presidential crisis, he argues, is rooted in failure to deliver on promises. Udeogaranya maintained that hope lies in presenting a dynamic and capable candidate — one like himself.

“The party can win in 2027, but only if we present a candidate like Charles Udeogaranya,” he said confidently.

“Someone young, creative, informed and with the capacity to transform Nigeria rapidly. The people of Nigeria must become the central focus of any future government.”

When asked about his recent criticism of the APC’s endorsement of Tinubu as the sole candidate in 2023, Udeogaranya clarified his position. He insisted the decision did not reflect the will of the party as a whole.

“Let’s be clear — a few people saying what they like doesn’t make it party policy. The real decision will be made at the party’s convention,” he said. “Minority voices can speak, but the majority will always have their way.”

Despite his strong criticism, Chief Udeogaranya appears to remain loyal to the party, hoping for a redemptive path forward. However, his outlook is firm: renominate Tinubu, and the APC loses.
