Peter Obi, who is now associated with the African Democratic Congress, African Democratic Congress, stated that voters should not support him based on where he comes from or his faith, but on his ability and commitment to national development.

“Do not vote for me because I’m from the South East. Do not vote for me because I am a Christian. Vote for me because I am committed to turning Nigeria around,” Peter Obi said during the interview.
