Adams Oshiomhole praises Nyesom Wike for his performance in the FCT local government elections, describing it as exceptional leadership
Adams Oshiomhole has praised the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, for what he described as exceptional leadership during the recent FCT local government elections.

Oshiomhole made the remarks during the handover of 54 construction equipment to the 18 local government areas in Edo State, where he commended Wike’s performance in the polls.
“If anybody was in doubt, he did the one that yesterday when his party came second after APC. To take second after APC, no issue. Particularly where some people got not over 100,” Oshiomhole said.
The senator further described Wike as the first person from the South-South geopolitical zone to serve as FCT minister in a manner that has “refined and redefined the concept of development” in the nation’s capital.
He also appreciated regional leaders for sustaining cooperation and political alliances, congratulating them on the outcome of the elections.

Wike, a member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), supported candidates aligned with the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) during the FCT polls, a move that has continued to generate political debate.
