Pam Mwadkon Dachungyang, born September 14, 1962, is a Nigerian journalist and politician from a royal family in Riyom, Plateau State.
He officially assumed office as the Senator representing Plateau North senatorial district in February 2024, after being elected in a bye-election on February 3, 2024.
Prior to his senatorial position, Dachungyang had a career in journalism.
His entry into the Senate was a significant political event, as he secured 122,442 votes to emerge victorious. He was sworn in by the Senate President Godswill Akpabio on February 13, 2024.
Senator Dachungyang’s political trajectory marks a transition from media to active legislative representation at the national level.
