PDP Kaduna suspends Secretary over misconduct, disloyalty

PDP Kaduna Secretary suspension announced over alleged misconduct and anti-party activities; party enforces one-month disciplinary action pending investigation.

PDP Kaduna Secretary suspension has stirred political ripples as the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Kaduna State announced the immediate suspension of its state Secretary, Mr Sa’idu Adamu, over alleged gross misconduct and anti-party activities.

In a statement released on Tuesday by the party’s Publicity Secretary, Maria Dogo, the suspension was described as a disciplinary measure under Articles 58(1)(h) and 57(3) of the PDP Constitution (2017 as amended).

The State Working Committee (SWC) reportedly reached the decision during a meeting held on Monday, October 6, 2025, at the party secretariat in Kaduna.

The suspension takes effect immediately and will last for one month pending the outcome of internal investigations.

“During this period, Hon. Sa’idu Adamu is hereby barred from participating in any party activity at all levels,” Dogo stated.

This PDP Kaduna Secretary suspension comes as part of what party leaders describe as ongoing efforts to reinforce internal discipline, transparency, and accountability across all levels of the party.

Under the leadership of State Chairman Edward Percy Masha, the SWC has reaffirmed its commitment to fairness and due process, noting that all actions taken are in line with the constitution of the party.
