Oladimeji Fabiyi has been appointed ADC Deputy National Financial Secretary as the party ratifies key national executives to boost opposition leadership
The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has appointed Oladimeji Fabiyi as its new Deputy National Financial Secretary, following his nomination by the party’s South-West Zonal caucus in Ibadan.

The announcement was made in a statement on Wednesday by the party.
Other key appointments ratified during the Ibadan South-West meeting include Mr. Akinbowale Omole as National Vice Chairman (South-West), Capt. Tunji Shelle as National Director of Communication & Programmes, and Alh. Kafilat Olayiwola as Deputy National Woman Leader.
Additional executives confirmed include Arc. Bashir Lawal (Assistant National Secretary, Diversity & Inclusion), Prof. Bode Ayorinde (Assistant National Organizing Secretary), Mrs. Yidiat Oseni (Deputy Coordinator, Diaspora), Olufemi Adeleye, and Lady Lydia Olufunmiloye (Assistant National Woman Leader).
During the inauguration, the National Secretary of the ADC and former Governor of Osun State, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, urged the new executives to prioritise the party’s interests.
He stressed that the ADC is being strategically positioned to provide a credible alternative to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
“The task ahead is enormous; we must be ready to lead Nigerians out of the woods,” Aregbesola said, calling on party leaders to engage Nigerians with purpose and vision.

The appointments are expected to strengthen the ADC’s leadership structure as the opposition party intensifies efforts to mobilise support ahead of forthcoming elections.
