Nanle Miracle Dariye withdraws from Mangu/Bokkos House of Reps race after consultations, citing unity and political stability
Nanle Miracle Dariye, son of former Plateau State Governor Joshua Dariye, has withdrawn from the race for the Mangu/Bokkos Federal Constituency seat in the House of Representatives under the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Nanle Dariye withdraws election race decision was announced on Friday through a statement shared on his social media platforms, where he addressed supporters and described the move as a difficult but necessary step after wide consultations with family members and political stakeholders.
He explained that the decision followed meetings with party leaders and other key figures, including Plateau State Governor Caleb Mutfwang, adding that the discussions centred on the prevailing political realities within the constituency.
Dariye stated that his withdrawal was guided by the need to preserve unity, peace, and stability within both the constituency and the ruling party structure. He noted that leadership sometimes requires sacrificing personal ambition for collective progress.
The former aspirant expressed appreciation to his supporters for their commitment throughout the campaign process, acknowledging their expectations and encouragement since he declared his interest in the contest.
He urged his supporters to remain calm and avoid actions that could create division, stressing that his commitment to the development of Mangu/Bokkos remains unchanged despite stepping out of the race.
Dariye added that while he is no longer in the contest, he remains dedicated to supporting initiatives aimed at promoting peace, unity, and progress in the constituency.
