Mutfwang dismisses APC imposition allegations were dismissed on Tuesday through a statement issued by the Governor’s Director of Press and Public Affairs, Gyang Bere, who described the allegations as baseless and “lies from the pit of hell.”

Gyang Bere stated that Governor Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang has never imposed any aspirant or candidate in any election and will not do so, adding that the governor’s political record reflects consistent commitment to fairness and democratic principles.

He noted that Mutfwang has long been recognised for supporting free, fair and credible elections, both during his time in the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and in his current position as governor of Plateau State.

According to him, the reports circulating on alleged imposition do not reflect the governor’s peaceful disposition or his continued call for transparent electoral processes across the state.

“The Governor, His Excellency Barr. Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang has never imposed any political aspirant or candidate against the wishes of the people and will not start now,” Bere said.

He urged members of the public and party faithful to disregard what he described as fabricated statements in their entirety, insisting they were false and misleading.

Bere further stressed that the administration remains committed to peace, unity and stability in Plateau State, while encouraging stakeholders to adhere strictly to peaceful conduct during electoral processes.
