Kwankwasiyya Explains NDC Southern Presidency Zoning Move

Kwankwasiyya Movement explains NDC decision to zone its presidency to Southern Nigeria, citing national unity and stability

Supporters of former Kano State Governor Rabi’u Musa Kwankwaso under the Kwankwasiyya Movement have defended the decision of the Nigerian Democratic Congress to zone its presidential ticket to Southern Nigeria, describing it as a step rooted in national unity.

Kwankwasiyya Supports NDC presidency zoning position was explained by the movement’s National Coordinator, Habeeb Saleh, during an interview on Arise Television on Monday.

Saleh stated that the zoning arrangement reflects the party’s belief in a united Nigeria, adding that such political decisions are intended to strengthen trust and foster mutual understanding among citizens.

He further noted that the move is aimed at ensuring all Nigerians feel represented and confident in the party’s commitment to national interest.

According to him, the NDC believes that inclusive political arrangements are necessary to stabilise the country and promote collective confidence in governance.
