Joe Igbokwe sends strong warning to Tinubu’s critics, the statement was made on Tuesday in Lagos through a post on his official Facebook page, where he defended the president’s mandate and criticised growing resistance to his administration.
Igbokwe argued that President Tinubu was elected with a clear responsibility to restructure and strengthen Nigeria, stressing that his government must be allowed to focus on delivering its objectives without obstruction.
He maintained that the expectations of the electorate were centred on national reform and economic rebuilding, describing any attempt to derail the process as unacceptable.
APC chieftain also issued a stern caution to political opponents, warning that those who deliberately stand in the way of the administration’s agenda would face consequences for their actions.
In his remarks, Igbokwe emphasised that Nigeria requires urgent transformation and insisted that the current administration must be supported to achieve meaningful progress.
The Joe Igbokwe Tinubu warning opposition comment comes amid rising political tensions ahead of the 2027 general elections, with opposition figures reportedly mobilising against the president’s re-election bid over concerns about economic challenges and governance issues.
Despite the criticism, Igbokwe reaffirmed his support for the administration, describing the president’s mission as a necessary effort to reposition the country.
