Dele Momodu says an Atiku Abubakar and Peter Obi ticket would be a strong option for ADC, citing 2019 alliance and opposition momentum.
Dele Momodu has described a potential presidential ticket pairing Atiku Abubakar and Peter Obi as a formidable option for the African Democratic Congress (ADC) ahead of future elections.

Momodu made the remark on Tuesday during an appearance on Channels Television’s Politics Today, where he discussed possible opposition alignments and political strategies.
He said the Atiku Peter Obi ADC ticket would be strategically strong because both politicians previously worked together during the 2019 election cycle and already share political chemistry.
According to him, Peter Obi’s strong performance in the last election makes it easier to mobilise and retain his existing support base.
Momodu argued that such a combination could consolidate opposition votes and create a stronger challenge to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
He also claimed there is growing concern within the APC over the rising influence of prominent opposition figures aligning with the ADC.
Momodu suggested that the emergence of multiple strong opposition voices could unsettle the ruling party’s political dominance.
He further alleged that there is visible tension within the APC, despite its control of key political structures across the country.
