APC praises President Tinubu’s bold security emergency move, calling it vital for strengthening national safety
The All Progressives Congress in Lagos State on Thursday in Lagos praised President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for declaring a national security emergency, with the party describing the action as a critical step toward restoring safety across the country.

The commendation came from Seye Oladejo, the spokesman of the Lagos APC, who said the Tinubu security emergency would help strengthen Nigeria’s security architecture.
Oladejo said the President’s decision demonstrated a renewed commitment to confronting insecurity with urgency and strategy.
He noted that the measure reflected a form of leadership that Nigeria had long required but had lacked for decades.
According to Oladejo, the approval for new security recruitment underscored a national shift toward improved intelligence gathering, increased presence and enhanced operational readiness.
He described the initiative as a bold move aimed at reinforcing public confidence in government efforts to stabilise the country.
