APC announces global media briefing on Thursday to share plans for its National Convention holding March 27–28 in Abuja
The All Progressives Congress (APC) has scheduled a global media briefing for Thursday to unveil preparations for its National Convention set for March 27–28 in Abuja.

Alhaji Mohammed Idris, Co-Chairman of the APC National Convention Media and Publicity Committee, announced the briefing through his Special Assistant on Media, Rabiu Ibrahim.
He said the event will provide updates on the party’s expectations and plans for Nigerians.
Idris urged committee members to work in unity for effective communication and successful delivery of the convention.
“A lot of sacrifice is expected from all, in line with the party’s vision for a united and disciplined approach,” he noted.
The minister highlighted the importance of internal democratic processes, emphasizing that party members must uphold these values as exemplified by the President throughout his political career.
Key attendees at the committee meeting included:
- Mr Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy
- Mr Sunday Dare, Special Adviser on Public Communication and Orientation
- Sen. Yemi Adaramodu, Senate Spokesperson
- Rep. Akin Rotimi, House Spokesperson
- Mr Tunde Rahman, Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media
- Sen. Istifanus Gyang, Vice Chairman of the Committee
- Dr Mary Ikoku, Assistant Secretary
- Dr Abimbola Tooki, Secretary 1
