Speaking on the Morayo Afolabi Show, Abimbola said she first heard the allegation from her sisters, who claimed her husband frequently visited another family in Magodo.
Instead of panicking, she remained calm and sought spiritual guidance before discussing the matter with her husband. She explained:
“I said, ‘Come, they say you have another family in Magodo, that you are always going there every day.’ He said, ‘Magodo? How many times have I been to Magodo? Maybe during campaign.’”
She stressed that their strong relationship and open communication helped her handle the situation without tension.
Abimbola also addressed public perceptions of her husband as always calm, clarifying that while generally composed, he is human and capable of anger.
“You know when God gives you an assignment, he supports you with it. That idea that he never gets angry is a lie,” she said.
