Kwankwaso hails Kano governor for impressive reforms as Abba Yusuf presents national leadership award
The National Leader of the New Nigeria Peoples Party, Senator Rabiu Kwankwaso, on Sunday in Abuja commended Governor Abba Yusuf for what he described as purposeful and people-centred governance, marking a renewed phase of developmental action in Kano State.

The praise came as part of a courtesy visit during which Governor Yusuf formally presented his recent national honour, reinforcing the theme that Kwankwaso hails Kano governor for visible progress across the state.
Kwankwaso, a former governor of Kano, lauded the administration’s infrastructural and socioeconomic initiatives, noting that the improvements reflected prudent governance and an unwavering commitment to public welfare.
He said the national award was a recognition of the governor’s remarkable achievements within a relatively short period.
Governor Yusuf presented the Distinguished Award for Visionary Leadership and Public Service Sector Reform, which he received at the Nigeria Excellence Awards in Public Service.
Kwankwaso offered prayers and goodwill during the visit, assuring the governor of his continued support as the administration intensifies reforms aimed at improving the lives of Kano residents.
