Rufai Oseni Slams Fubara over Rivers Peace Remarks

Rufai Oseni slams Fubara over Rivers peace remarks, saying the governor is celebrating “peace of the graveyard” after being bullied

The Arise Television Morning Show anchor argued that Fubara had been “bullied and subdued” into silence.

In a post shared on his X handle on Saturday, Oseni wrote: “Fubara is celebrating peace of the grave yard, after he has been bullied and subdued.

Peace is better than war he says, play back all his tapes for him.”

His remarks followed Fubara’s statewide broadcast on Friday, in which the governor reflected on the six-month emergency rule imposed by President Bola Tinubu’s administration in the state.

In his address, Fubara defended his choice not to challenge the constitutionality of the intervention, stressing that he chose cooperation with the federal government to preserve peace, stability, and progress.

He declared that “the costliest peace is cheaper than the cheapest war.”
