Mohammed Hayatu-Deen ADC presidential form submission marks early lead as he pledges economic reforms, jobs and improved security
Former banker and economist Mohammed Hayatu-Deen has become the first presidential aspirant under the African Democratic Congress, ADC, to formally submit completed nomination forms ahead of the party’s presidential primary in Abuja, Nigeria, on Wednesday.

Mohammed Hayatu-Deen ADC presidential form submission was confirmed after the politician delivered his documents at the party secretariat, strengthening his early position in the race following his initial emergence as the first aspirant to obtain the expression of interest and nomination forms.
Addressing supporters shortly after the submission, Mohammed Hayatu-Deen said his ambition was driven by a desire to address Nigeria’s worsening economic challenges, rising insecurity and unemployment crisis.
The ADC presidential hopeful pledged that his administration would prioritise aggressive measures to reduce the high cost of living while implementing policies aimed at creating large scale employment opportunities across the country.
He also outlined plans for a structured approach to national security, stating that restoring safety and stability would be central to his proposed leadership agenda.
According to him, the economic situation demands urgent and strategic intervention to rebuild confidence and improve living standards for citizens.

The development signals the beginning of heightened political activity within the ADC as the party prepares for its presidential primary, with more aspirants expected to join the race in the coming weeks.
