Activist lawyer Deji Adeyanju has reacted to the escalating political tension in Rivers State, expressing support for the unfolding developments involving Governor Siminalayi Fubara and Federal Capital Territory Minister Nyesom Wike.

Deji Adeyanju comments on Rivers political situation crisis Fubara Wike remarks were made in a Facebook post on Monday, where the lawyer commented on the disqualification of aspirants for the Rivers State House of Assembly primaries.
Reports indicate that the All Progressives Congress screening committee disqualified several aspirants allegedly loyal to Governor Fubara, while those aligned with Wike reportedly scaled through.
Reacting to the development, Adeyanju described the situation as politically revealing and criticised Governor Fubara, suggesting that leadership strength is crucial in Nigerian politics.
He expressed approval of the ongoing political dynamics, stating that the unfolding events reflect broader struggles within the state’s power structure.
