APC lawmakers Tinubu support grows as Nasarawa Assembly members urge Nigerians to back the president beyond 2027

Lawmakers of the All Progressives Congress in the Nasarawa State House of Assembly have called on Nigerians to sustain support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu beyond the 2027 general elections.

The APC lawmakers Tinubu support position was articulated by the Majority Leader, Suleiman Azara, while addressing journalists after the party’s 10th caucus meeting held on Wednesday in Lafia.

Suleiman Azara said continued backing for Bola Ahmed Tinubu would enable citizens to enjoy more dividends of democracy, expressing confidence in the administration’s long-term impact.

The caucus meeting also reviewed the recently concluded APC congresses in the state, with Suleiman Azara commending party members who emerged as leaders at various levels.

He described the process as satisfactory and reflective of internal cohesion.

The APC lawmakers Tinubu support stance further extended to preparations for forthcoming party primaries, with members endorsing the leadership’s arrangements and reaffirming loyalty to party decisions.

Suleiman Azara said the meeting focused on strengthening unity, peace and progress within the party, stressing that lawmakers remain committed to working in synergy with stakeholders across constituencies.

The gathering was attended by the Speaker, Danladi Jatau, Deputy Speaker Muhammad Oyanki, and other APC legislators.

The lawmakers also pledged to maintain close collaboration with the executive arm to drive development in the state, describing unity as essential to achieving political stability and electoral success.
