Odigie urges mandate renewal Tinubu 2027, calling for shift in APC messaging and stronger focus on achievements ahead of the next election
A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Prince Emmanuel Odigie, has urged supporters of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to recalibrate their political messaging ahead of the 2027 general elections, stating that attention should now shift towards governance achievements and mandate renewal discussions.

Odigie said the current political cycle is gradually approaching its conclusion and should naturally transition into conversations about performance and continuity.
The Odigie urges mandate renewal Tinubu 2027 remarks came in response to President Tinubu’s recent visit to the United Kingdom, which he described as a positive diplomatic engagement with potential economic benefits for Nigeria.
Odigie noted that while international visits are important for strengthening bilateral relations, their value must ultimately be measured by tangible outcomes such as investment inflows and enforceable agreements.
He stressed that memoranda of understanding and other bilateral commitments should not remain on paper but must be implemented promptly to ensure national benefit.
According to him, the administration must place greater emphasis on communicating its achievements to Nigerians as the end of the current mandate draws closer, arguing that voters will demand accountability and measurable progress.
In his words, the APC chieftain said the focus should now shift from campaign rhetoric to governance outcomes, adding that discussions around “mandate renewal” should take precedence in political messaging.
Odigie also suggested that supporters should begin framing the national conversation around what has been achieved since 2023 and why Nigerians should consider renewing the mandate in the next electoral cycle.
