The rally was attended by political stakeholders, youth groups, women associations, traditional leaders, and party loyalists from the Northern Senatorial District.

Organisers described the event as a show of appreciation for leadership, development initiatives, and the collaboration between the state and federal governments.

Participants praised Sen. Jarigbe, popularly known as JAJ, for his representation at the National Assembly and his commitment to the development of northern Cross River. Gov. Otu was commended for infrastructure projects, economic revitalisation, and improved governance in the state.

Convener Maj. Obi Odu said the rally aimed to publicly endorse Jarigbe and highlight his performance in office.

“The senator has exceeded expectations in delivering democratic dividends to the people of the district,” he said.

Mr Joseph Abua added that Jarigbe deserved another term in office, while an elder from Bekwarra Local Government Area urged President Tinubu to intensify efforts to address the economic challenges facing Nigerians.
