Four Nigerian senators leave PDP for APC, citing internal crises as motivation for their defection
Four Nigerian senators have formally defected from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), DAILY POST reports.

- The lawmakers include:
- Ikra Bilbis (Zamfara Central)
- Aminu Iya Abbas (Adamawa Central)
- Amos Yohanna (Adamawa North)
- Ipalibo Harry Banigo (Rivers West)
Their defections were formally announced during Wednesday’s plenary session, with Senate President Godswill Akpabio reading their notices on the floor.
This development follows the recent defection of four House of Representatives members from PDP and the Labour Party (LP) to APC.
