In a Facebook post on Tuesday, Igbokwe wrote that contesting against Tinubu would be “an exercise in futility,” urging parties such as the PDP, ADC, and Labour Party to reconsider their plans.
“I will advise the PDP, ADC, Labour Party and others not to waste their precious gift of time, hard earned money, strength, energy and power to dream about 2027 Presidential Elections. It will be an exercise in futility. PBAT has taken it. Look deep, think deep,” he said.
Reports indicate that former vice president Atiku Abubakar, former Anambra State governor Peter Obi, and former Rivers State governor Rotimi Amaechi have all shown interest in contesting the 2027 presidency.
