Ajose made the appeal during a stakeholders’ meeting that brought together leaders from the three local governments and local council development areas (LCDAs) in Badagry.

He said his visits to other local governments and LCDAs in Lagos were aimed at promoting cohesion, noting that a united party structure is essential for victory.

“As part of our consultations, we have visited local governments and LCDAs in Lagos to meet APC leaders. We feel this is the time to come down to Badagry,” Ajose said. “We feel this is the time to meet the leadership of APC in Badagry and advise them to come together as one, understanding the benefits of unity.”

The meeting marked the first political gathering attended by all party leaders since the death of Dr Sunny Ajose, the former APC apex leader in Badagry.

Joseph Bamgbose, APC leader in Badagry-West LCDA, commended the aspirant for convening the meeting and thanked party leaders for attending, highlighting the importance of collaboration ahead of the next election cycle.

Over 200 party leaders from across the federation were present, reflecting strong stakeholder engagement.

Among those in attendance were Mr Sesi Whingan, lawmaker representing Badagry Federal Constituency; Mr Bonu Solomon, member representing Badagry Constituency 1 in the Lagos State House of Assembly; Commissioner for Home Affairs, Mr Ibrahim Layode; and the three council chairmen—Mr Babatunde Hunpe of Badagry Local Government, Mr Kumayon Ajose of Olorunda LCDA, and Mr Rauf Yemaren of Badagry-West LCDA.
