Governor Hope Uzodinma urges APC members in Imo State to maintain unity and inclusiveness ahead of ward and LGA congresses
Governor Hope Uzodinma of Imo State engaged key All Progressives Congress stakeholders at Sam Mbakwe Executive Chambers, Government House, Owerri, on Wednesday, 19 February 2026, ahead of the scheduled Ward and Local Government Area congresses nationwide.

During the meeting, Governor Uzodinma urged party members to prioritise unity and discipline, describing harmony among contenders as essential to sustaining electoral victories.
He emphasised inclusive leadership and encouraged all voices within the party to be considered in decision-making processes.
“The Party’s success hinges on the cooperation and sincerity of its members,” Governor Uzodinma said.
“I advocate for inclusive leadership, and that all voices within the Party be considered in decision-making. APC is a family bound by a common vision for development.”
The Governor also recognised the contributions of grassroots mobilisers and party leaders in expanding APC’s outreach.
He assured attendees that his administration remains committed to security and development across the State.
MacDonald Ebere, Imo APC State Chairman, commended members for their dedication during the ongoing e-registration exercise and praised Governor Uzodinma for creating an enabling environment for the party’s activities.
Godwin Anawore, Chairman of the Committee for the Ward and LGA congresses, described the exercise as vital for the party’s success.
He credited Governor Uzodinma’s leadership for keeping APC united and highlighted the bright future of the party in Imo State.
