APC Pledges 95% Anambra Support for Tinubu in 2027

APC Anambra support confirmed as party pledges 95% of state votes for President Bola Tinubu in the 2027 election, citing unity and collaboration with APGA

The All Progressives Congress, APC, has pledged to work with the ruling All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, in Anambra State to deliver 95 per cent of votes for President Bola Tinubu in the 2027 presidential election.

Mr Basil Ejidike, Anambra APC Chairman, revealed the plan on Tuesday during a stakeholders’ meeting in Awka.

He also formally moved a motion adopting Tinubu as the party’s presidential candidate for 2027.

The motion was seconded by prominent party members, including Mr Nicholas Ukachukwu, APC governorship candidate in the November 8 state election, and his running mate, Senator Uche Ekwunife.

Ejidike said the meeting was convened to allow the Congress Harmonising Committee to organise members at the unit, ward, and local government levels for the upcoming ward congress starting Wednesday.

Ukachukwu emphasised the importance of party discipline and unity, noting that APC’s growth in Anambra depends on following proper processes and giving members fair opportunities.

“Anambra APC will grow when the right things are done. We joined the APC to make the party better in Anambra, and not to cause confusion or chase away the people we met in the party,” Ukachukwu said.
