The United States has delivered military supplies to Nigeria to support ongoing security operations and strengthen bilateral defence cooperation, the U.S. Africa Command confirmed on Tuesday.

The delivery, confirmed via the official X handle of AFRICOM, aims to assist Nigerian security forces in addressing pressing operational needs amid persistent insurgency, banditry, and violent crime across the country.
“This delivery supports Nigeria’s ongoing operations and emphasizes our shared security partnership,” the U.S. Mission said.
The development reflects continued collaboration between Nigeria and the United States on defence and security matters.
