Uche Nwosu Reaffirms Loyalty to APC, Rejects ADC Rumours

Uche Nwosu revalidates APC membership in Imo, dismissing rumours of defection to ADC and urging civic participation

Uche Nwosu, former governorship candidate of the Action Alliance in Imo State, officially reaffirmed his loyalty to the All Progressives Congress during the party’s e-registration exercise on Sunday in Eziama Obaire, Nkwerre Local Government Area.

Speaking to party members and community residents, Nwosu dismissed circulating rumours that he intended to defect to the African Democratic Congress.

Describing himself as a founding member of the APC, he stated: “I remain a committed member of the All Progressives Congress. I will not abandon a house I helped to build. I have no plan to defect to the African Democratic Congress.”

Nwosu highlighted that former Imo State Governor, Owelle Rochas Okorocha, and other members of the Rescue Mission team remain steadfast within the party.

He called on supporters and residents to register en masse and actively participate in political activities at all levels, stressing the importance of civic engagement.

The event attracted numerous party leaders and stakeholders, including the ward chairman and executives, the ward councillor, the President General of Eziama Obaire, and the Director General and executives of the Ugwumba Movement.

Also present were the Eze-Elect of Eziama Obaire and former executive chairmen from Nkwerre, Orsu, and Isu Local Government Areas.

Nwosu’s public reaffirmation underscores his commitment to the APC amid speculation, emphasising the party’s unity and encouraging citizens to remain engaged in shaping Imo State’s political future.
