Chief Adebayo Adelabu, often referred to as Bayo Adelabu, is a distinguished Nigerian financial expert and politician who has transitioned from a highly successful career in banking to active participation in the political arena of Oyo State.
Before venturing into public service, Adelabu rose to the pinnacle of Nigeria’s financial sector, serving as the Deputy Governor of Operations at the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN).

Adebayo Adelabu is widely known for his gubernatorial aspirations in Oyo State, having consistently contested the governorship on multiple occasions, notably as the candidate for the All Progressives Congress (APC) in 2019 and later under the Accord Party in 2023.
