Attahiru Dalhatu Bafarawa is a veteran Nigerian politician who served as the Executive Governor of Sokoto State for two terms, from 1999 to 2007.
He was a founding member of the All Nigeria Peoples Party (ANPP) and later played a significant role in the formation of other political parties.
