PDP 2025 National Convention screening for aspirants holds Oct. 28 in Abuja, with appeal screening fixed for Oct. 30 ahead of the Ibadan convention.
PDP 2025 National Convention preparations have gathered momentum as the party announced that the screening of aspirants vying for national offices will take place on Tuesday, October 28, in Abuja.

The Chairman of the National Convention Organising Committee (NCOC), Governor Ahmadu Fintiri of Adamawa State, disclosed this in a statement released in the Federal Capital Territory on Friday.
According to Fintiri, the screening exercise will be held at the NCOC Secretariat Conference Hall, Legacy House, Maitama, beginning at 2 p.m., while the Screening Appeal Committee is scheduled to convene on Thursday, October 30.
He added that Monday, October 27, has been set as the final deadline for the submission of completed expression of interest and nomination forms by all aspirants to the NCOC Secretariat.
“All aspirants, critical stakeholders, and party members are advised to take note of these dates and be properly guided,” Fintiri said, stressing the committee’s readiness to ensure a smooth and transparent process.
The PDP 2025 National Convention is scheduled to hold on November 15 and 16 in Ibadan, Oyo State. The convention is expected to produce new national officers who will steer the affairs of Nigeria’s main opposition party in the lead-up to the 2027 general elections.
