Oyo APC members elect former Deputy Governor as state chairman during congress at Obafemi Awolowo Stadium, Ibadan
Members of the Oyo State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) have elected a former Deputy Governor as the party’s state chairman during the congress on Tuesday.

The event took place at Obafemi Awolowo Stadium, Oke Ado, Ibadan, and was witnessed by representatives of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
The newly elected chairman previously served under former Governor Abiola Ajimobi from 2011 to 2019 and hails from Oke Ogun geopolitical zone.
Other executives elected include Wasiu Olawale Sadare, who retained his position as Publicity Secretary.

The congress reinforces APC’s leadership structure and internal democracy in Oyo State, with further announcements on additional party officials expected soon.
