Obi-Kwankwaso 2027 election claim as Yunusa Tanko says the presidential race would be decided by noon with a joint ticket
The National Coordinator of the Obidient Movement, Yunusa Tanko, on Wednesday said the 2027 presidential election would be effectively concluded by midday if Peter Obi and Rabiu Kwankwaso joint ticket emerges, describing it as a potentially decisive political force.

Yunusa Tanko expressed strong confidence in the electoral strength of an Obi-Kwankwaso alliance ahead of the next general election.
Obidient Movement coordinator was responding to comments by media executive Dele Momodu, who had previously suggested that a presidential ticket pairing Atiku Abubakar and Peter Obi could form a formidable combination under the African Democratic Congress (ADC).
In his remarks, Yunusa Tanko questioned the viability of alternative ticket arrangements, arguing that political strategy and zoning considerations would play a critical role in determining electoral outcomes.
“If the ADC doesn’t zone the presidency to the South, the party will lose the election,” Tanko said, adding, “With an Obi-Kwankwaso ticket, the election will be over by 12 pm.”
Obi-Kwankwaso 2027 election projection has further intensified political discussions around possible alliances ahead of the 2027 polls, with various blocs already positioning themselves for what is expected to be a highly competitive race.
