Moriki announced the decision on Monday during plenary in Gusau after presenting letters of resignation on behalf of the defecting members.
The move follows the recent defection of Governor Dauda Lawal from PDP to APC.
Among those who joined APC are Deputy Speaker Adamu Aliyu (Gummi II Constituency), Majority Leader Bello Mazawaje (Tsafe East Constituency), and Chief Whip Rilwanu Nagambo (Anka Constituency).
Moriki explained that the defection was aimed at fostering smooth collaboration between the state and federal governments and promoting development in Zamfara.
“With our decision, the APC now has full control of the Zamfara State House of Assembly,” he said.
