A video posted by TVC on X showed Akinsanya visiting the secretariat to assess property damaged during the takeover.

The faction led by Baruwa had occupied the facility on Monday, citing court rulings in their favour.

Speaking to journalists, Baruwa said: “We are taking over in a peaceful manner, not forcefully, carrying out the court’s orders.” He claimed that one of his members was attacked during the process, but the situation remained under control.

In response, Akinsanya described the incident as a “forceful takeover” and noted that due legal processes were ongoing.
