Fani-Kayode Momodu 2027 election feud escalates as Fani-Kayode makes harsh remarks about Dele Momodu and predicts Tinubu’s 2027 victory
Nigeria’s Ambassador to Germany, Femi Fani-Kayode, has launched a scathing verbal attack on African Democratic Congress (ADC) chieftain Dele Momodu, saying the media figure would “crawl back into the hole he came from” if President Bola Ahmed Tinubu wins the 2027 presidential election.

The Fani-Kayode Momodu 2027 election feud erupted after Momodu criticised Fani-Kayode and former presidential aide Reno Omokri, describing them as “perpetual agents of perfidy” lacking credibility.
Responding via a post on X, Fani-Kayode said he was amused by Momodu’s remarks and insisted he had initially tried to remain restrained in his response.
“I saw Dele Momodu’s response to my article on him and was amused,” he wrote, adding that he offered no apology for his earlier comments.
He described Momodu as emotionally reactive and politically weakened, claiming that the journalist had “blown his gasket” and become “unhinged” in recent public commentary.
“Frankly, I feel sorry for him because it is clear that he is fighting a lost cause, he is badly diminished, and he is now a shadow of his former self,” he stated.
Fani-Kayode further predicted that Momodu’s influence would fade further ahead of the 2027 elections, suggesting that he would retreat from political relevance if Tinubu secures victory.
“For Bobby Dee, the glory days are certainly over, and I suspect that by 2027, when Tinubu emerges victorious, he will crawl back into the hole that he originally came from,” he wrote.
He also made dismissive remarks about Momodu’s professional future, implying he would return to photographing public figures for a living.
Fani-Kayode accused Momodu of misrepresenting past statements made during his time in opposition politics, insisting that his earlier comments about Tinubu were made in a different political context.
