Speaking on TVC, Governor Okpebholor said the APC is targeting 3.5 million votes in Edo and dismissed any claims of serious opposition in the state.

“There is no opposition here in Edo, everybody is for Asiwaju in this state,” Okpebholor said. “Tinubu is more popular than me in Edo State. If he doesn’t win the presidential election in Edo in 2027, I will resign.”

The governor highlighted his administration’s achievements since the APC assumed power in Edo, including infrastructure and development projects, arguing that the electorate has already experienced the impact of the party’s governance.
