Addressing the monarch and community leaders, Dr Salaam pledged his commitment to inclusive development and responsible leadership if elected governor.

He acknowledged Ejigboland’s historical support for governorship candidates across the state and urged other towns to reciprocate by endorsing the community’s ambition to produce the next governor.

“As the Oluomo of Ejigboland, I have witnessed significant contributions from this region. Since the ascension of the Ogiyan, Ejigbo has produced a Senator, a member of the House of Representatives, and two Speakers of the Osun State House of Assembly. It is now time for Ejigboland to produce a Governor,” Dr Salaam declared.

In response, the Ogiyan of Ejigbo expressed appreciation for Dr Salaam’s ambition, noting that it brings honour to the community.

The monarch offered prayers for Dr Salaam’s success and highlighted the unity and goodwill surrounding him and the ADC as promising indicators for a positive political journey ahead.
