The Dino Melaye INEC bias claim was made in a video shared on social media, where the African Democratic Congress chieftain criticised the commission for what he described as a misinterpretation of a court order.
Dino Melaye said the actions of the electoral body had eroded public confidence, insisting that those responsible should either resign or be removed from office.
The Dino Melaye INEC bias allegation comes amid heightened political tension following the reported delisting of the African Democratic Congress.
In response, party leaders, including David Mark, Atiku Abubakar, Peter Obi and Rabiu Kwankwaso, staged a protest at the commission’s headquarters in Abuja.
Dino Melaye maintained that the commission’s conduct demonstrates partiality and warned that continued actions of that nature could undermine the credibility of Nigeria’s electoral process.
