Governor Sheriff Oborevwori of Delta State, Nigeria, expressed confidence that the voting pattern which saw former Labour Party presidential candidate Mr Peter Obi win Delta State in the 2023 general election would not be repeated in 2027.

The Delta election 2027 prediction Oborevwori comments came as the governor reflected on political alignments within the state, attributing Obi’s 2023 performance partly to support from the Christian community and non-indigenous residents, including members of the Igbo community.
Governor Oborevwori stated that his administration has since strengthened engagement with the Igbo community in Delta State, expressing confidence that they would now support the All Progressives Congress in future elections.
He added that the community did not vote against him during the governorship election and has continued to cooperate with his administration on matters affecting the state’s development and stability.
In his remarks, the governor also referenced religious leaders who supported his political transition to the APC, noting that they had prayed for the success of the move and would continue to play a role in shaping political outcomes.
The Delta election 2027 prediction Oborevwori statement further asserted that the factors that contributed to the 2023 presidential election outcome in the state had been addressed, adding that he does not anticipate a repeat of the same result in 2027.
Governor Oborevwori expressed optimism that the APC would secure broad-based support across Delta State in the next general election, describing ongoing political engagement as a key factor in strengthening the party’s presence.
