APC rules for Taraba primaries were clarified over the weekend in Jalingo by the state chairman, Abubakar Bawa, during a meeting with two House of Representatives aspirants at the party secretariat.

Abubakar Bawa stressed the importance of internal discipline and peaceful politicking among aspirants, urging members to remain united as the party prepares for the 2027 general elections.

He reiterated that the party is committed to providing a fair, transparent, and credible platform for all contestants seeking elective positions under its banner.

According to him, all aspirants are expected to take their campaigns directly to the grassroots and engage voters at the community level as part of the party’s democratic process.

APC Taraba primary election rules also underscore the leadership’s stance on inclusivity and orderliness, as Bawa assured members that justice and equal opportunity would be upheld under his watch.

He further stated that only members who obtained their party membership cards through the e-registration system would be allowed to vote or participate in the primaries.
