Aisha Yesufu Peter Obi One Term Warning as the activist vows to oppose any extension beyond Obi’s pledged single term presidency
Political activist Aisha Yesufu, issued a firm stance that she would oppose former Anambra State Governor Peter Obi if he assumes office as president and attempts to exceed a single term in office.

Aisha Yesufu stated that her position is rooted in what she described as a commitment already made by Peter Obi prior to the 2023 general elections.
She emphasised that the former presidential candidate had repeatedly given his word and should be held accountable to it.
During the televised interview, Aisha Yesufu explained that her engagement with Peter Obi on the matter was deliberate and direct, noting that she had personally sought clarification from him before publicly aligning with his position.
According to her, Peter Obi reaffirmed his intention to serve only one term.
She further stressed that integrity remains central to her public advocacy, adding that her stance is not driven by politics alone but by personal conviction.
