In a statement signed by Gombe and BoT Secretary Rufus Ikanmi, the faction emphasized that any further unauthorised use of the party’s identity or resources would attract legal action.
They specifically cautioned the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and courts recognised NWC under Mark to stop issuing statements or making public comments in the party’s name.
The Gombe-led faction also stated that any dealings including lending, withdrawals, or transfers from party accounts by unauthorised persons would be regarded as financial misconduct and economic sabotage.
