Osun APC voters registration faces ADC allegations, but the party insists claims of election rigging are false and urges supporters to continue registering
Osun APC voters registration is at the center of political debate after the African Democratic Congress accused the party of planning to manipulate the 2026 governorship election through the ongoing Continuous Voter Registration (CVR) exercise.

The APC, in a statement signed by its Director of Media and Information, Kola Olabisi, rejected the allegations as “false and frivolous.”
The party insisted that the claims are borne out of fear of defeat and are a preemptive attempt to justify a potential loss.
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) launched the CVR exercise on August 18, 2025, online, with physical registration following on August 25, 2025, at all state offices.
APC emphasised that mobilising voters for registration is fully legal and part of ordinary democratic participation.
“The ADC is accusing the state APC of masterminding and perfecting election rigging through voter registration.
These allegations should be disregarded as mere fabrication,” the statement read.
The party added that no protest by ADC would stop its members from participating fully in the CVR exercise.
APC also highlighted that defections from other parties have strengthened its ranks, asserting that it remains the party to beat in Osun State.

The statement concluded by encouraging supporters to register and obtain their voter cards while dismissing ADC’s claims as an admission of weakness.
