Prophet Bomadi Serimoedumu predicts that former President Goodluck Jonathan will return to Aso Rock in 2027 if he runs, declaring a vision of national prosperity
In a bold spiritual revelation, Prophet Bomadi Serimoedumu, founder and General Overseer of Mount Zion Divine Gospel Ministry Inc., has declared that former President Goodluck Jonathan will return to Aso Rock in 2027, provided he decides to contest in the presidential election.

Speaking during a Sunday service at his church’s headquarters, Paradise City Zion in Bomadi, Delta State, Prophet Serimoedumu, who refers to himself as the Field Marshall of the Prophetic and Secret Revealer of the Niger Delta, said he had a clear vision of Jonathan leading Nigeria again under the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
“I see President Goodluck Jonathan in Aso Rock leading this country again. If he chooses to run in 2027, he will return as President. There will be prosperity, and the people will rejoice,” the prophet declared.
He described seeing the PDP flag raised high above others, held victoriously by Jonathan—symbolising political triumph and national celebration.
According to Prophet Serimoedumu, the vision indicated that Jonathan would serve only one term and that his leadership would bring economic prosperity, peace, and public jubilation to a country currently facing deep economic and security challenges.
While Goodluck Jonathan has not made any official statements about a political comeback, speculation has persisted since he left office in 2015—especially given the constitutional allowance that permits him to run for one more term.
Prophet Serimoedumu also recounted a separate vision during the build-up to the 2023 general election, in which President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Vice President Kashim Shettima appeared to him spiritually to seek his prophetic support.
“Tinubu sat on a chair and Shettima on the floor beside him. Tinubu promised to run for only one term and asked for my support. I agreed. But I noticed his running mate was visibly displeased with the one-term idea,” the cleric narrated.
This prophetic account adds to a growing number of spiritually inspired political predictions ahead of the 2027 elections, as religious leaders across the country weigh in on national leadership.
The prophecy comes at a time of increasing public debate over Nigeria’s future leadership and the performance of the current administration.
While the Labour Party’s Peter Obi and others are already being discussed as potential candidates, Prophet Serimoedumu’s vision injects renewed focus on Jonathan’s legacy and potential return.
Jonathan, who served as president from 2010 to 2015, left behind a mixed record but retains significant support across parts of the Niger Delta and other regions.
