Umar Dikko Radda is the current Governor of Katsina State, assuming office in May 2023.
Prior to his governorship, Radda had a distinguished career in public service and academia.
He served as the Director-General of the National Small and Medium Enterprises Development Agency (SMEDAN), where he championed initiatives for entrepreneurship and job creation.
He also held positions as Chief of Staff to the Governor of Katsina State and as a university lecturer.
