The meeting took place in Ibadan on Tuesday ahead of the 2027 general elections.
It was attended by 26 local government chairmen of the party and state executive members.
Alhaji Ibrahim Durojaiye, a leader from 10 local government areas in the Oke Ogun geopolitical zone, was also present.
The Oyo State SDP chairman, Hon. Michael Okunlola, said Oladele has the capacity to govern the state.
He described him as a strong contender ahead of the next election cycle.
Although details remain unclear, sources suggest discussions centred on a possible political realignment.
