Kalu Tasks RHP to Mobilise 150 Million Tinubu Supporters

Renewed Hope Partners mobilisation aims to rally 150 million supporters for President Tinubu, as Benjamin Kalu outlines grassroots and digital campaign plans

The Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Hon. Benjamin Kalu, has urged the Renewed Hope Partners (RHP) to intensify efforts toward mobilising at least 150 million supporters nationwide in support of President Bola Tinubu’s reelection bid.

Kalu gave the charge while hosting a delegation of the support group from Edo, Ekiti, and Katsina States in Abuja, on the sidelines of the All Progressives Congress (APC) National Convention.

The Renewed Hope Partners mobilisation drive, according to him, is central to promoting the administration’s Renewed Hope Agenda across communities, institutions, and digital platforms nationwide.

Hon. Kalu, who founded the initiative, reiterated that the group’s core objectives include promoting government achievements, strengthening democratic participation, and advancing national development through grassroots engagement.

He called on members to expand their outreach to key public spaces such as markets, religious centres, campuses, and transport hubs, stressing the need to communicate government policies in simple and relatable language that resonates with ordinary citizens.

Kalu also emphasised the importance of embedding the Renewed Hope message at all levels of society, noting that effective mobilisation requires visibility and consistent engagement wherever people gather.

He further highlighted plans to establish structures across universities, local government areas, and communities, encouraging the group to deepen its presence nationwide as part of a long-term political and civic engagement strategy.

According to him, the initiative extends beyond electoral campaigns, with additional focus on advocacy for legislative reforms such as reserved seats for women, independent candidacy, local government autonomy, and state policing.

Kalu described members of the group as change agents and advocates of democratic growth, urging them to remain committed to building support networks that align with the administration’s vision.

The National Coordinator of Renewed Hope Partners, Mr. Mathias Ehizua, said the delegation’s visit was aimed at updating the Deputy Speaker on the group’s progress, particularly its online membership registration efforts.

He noted that the group has recorded steady growth within its first two months of operation and highlighted its unique digital database as a distinguishing feature among political support organisations.

Representatives from Edo, Ekiti, and Katsina States also reaffirmed their commitment to expanding membership across polling units, wards, and local government areas, pledging continued mobilisation efforts in their respective regions.

In Edo State, the Coordinator, Barrister Armstrong Adedigba, reported that over 11,800 members have already been registered within two months, adding that the group is gaining support from civil society actors and other stakeholder groups.
