Governor Seyi Makinde urges Muslims to pray for Oyo State leadership and remain vigilant during Eid-el-Fitri celebrations
Governor Seyi Makinde has urged Muslim faithful to use the Eid-el-Fitri celebrations to seek God’s guidance and pray for the leadership of Oyo State and Nigeria.

The call was contained in a felicitation message issued on Thursday in Ibadan by Dr Suleimon Olanrewaju, the Governor’s Special Adviser on Media.
Makinde commended Muslims for their perseverance, commitment, and sacrifices during the 30-day Ramadan fast.
He encouraged residents to remain observant and cautious throughout the festivities and to report any suspicious activities to security agencies.
The governor reiterated his administration’s dedication to people-centred initiatives aimed at fostering growth and development across Oyo State.
He emphasised that the government remains committed to promoting the overall progress and prosperity of the state

“Eid is a time to reflect, seek divine guidance, and pray for our leaders, our communities, and our nation,” Makinde said, urging citizens to embrace both spiritual and social responsibility during the celebrations.
